Blaise and Zélie in September

I had to double check the date on this picture. We were still really playing in the pool in September?? Apparently!
We were also doing some TV watching in September.
As Zélie started to get the hang of walking, Blaise started to get the hang of helping her out.
When I ask, he is eager to take her hand and lead her. A lot of times, though, she doesn't want his help. She'll repeatedly bat his hand away as he reaches for hers. It's terribly cute from both ends: how she wants to be a big kid and do it by herself and how he wants to be a big brother and help his little sister.

The double Cozy Coupe. God's gift to mothers.
Too bad they're attached to shopping carts, and we can't take them home!
This also reminds me of the free cookies we get at Reasor's while we're shopping. The bakery gives away one cookie per kid per shopping trip. If the receiving of the cookie is timed correctly, the cookie will last through the check-out line, which is always the goal.

Finally, playing cars with Dad.
I love watching the three of them play cars. I find it super cute that Zélie joins in the fun. She knows no different. She has dolls. She has tea sets. But what goes on around here the most? Boy stuff. And she loves it.

A little live action shot of the fun:
