Zélie already had a pair of summer knees at the beginning of May. Needless to say, April's efforts to learn how to crawl were successful.
As mentioned in the "Blaise in May" post, the weather was beautiful. Daily strolls around the block became a part of our routine. We would often take off at 4:45, and barely make it back in time to greet Aaron at 5:30. We didn't go far - literally around the block - but, man, how much there is to explore in the eyes of two little ones!
Bathtime was always a highlight of her day.
Thanks to the help of Uncle John and Aaron, the crib was moved from Blaise's room to ours. Blaise was fairly distraught over this, even though he had been sleeping in his "big boy bed" for a couple of months. Change is hard.
Zélie agreed, as she wouldn't actually SLEEP in the crib.
"I'm seriously supposed to sleep in this thing!?"
Blaise got a new pair of sunglasses that Zélie hijacked one night after he went to bed.
She liked checking herself out in the reflection of the dishwasher.
She also hijacked a friend's cozy coupe.
She must have learned to hot wire from Barney.
Maybe Signing Time.
Hard to tell.
Zélie got into a great habit of helping me with chores.
Vacuuming.
Folding laundry.
I snapped this picture, took one look at it, and teared up a bit. She just looks so old.
Where did my baby go?
